This is a vibrant community dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs, startups and early-stage projects. The community provides entrepreneurs with access to valuable resources and opportunities to connect with others to take their businesses to the next level. Through membership, the community gains access to a wide range of events and activities, approximately five per week. These events foster connections, wellness, technology, innovation, arts and culture. For example, social clubs, breathing sessions, meditation classes and parties. The co-working spaces, coffee shop, wine club bar and rooftop terrace further enhance the networking experience. Founded three years ago, they already have 450 members, of which approximately 65% are Mexican entrepreneurs and 35% international. This thriving community is supported by a team of 30 employees, all located in the trendy heart of Mexico City: Condesa.

Internship Description

Your role will involve attending and photographing events, creating visually engaging content and collaborating with the team to capture the spirit of the community. This Photographer Internship offers you the opportunity to develop your photography skills while contributing to their mission to foster connections and growth among entrepreneurs and startups.

Schedule: 8-12 hours per week 

Main responsibilities

• Take high-quality photos during events and show the essence and energy of the moment
• Take portrait sessions with the community members and create engaging and visually appealing portraits
• Use your creative perspective to compose photos and frame subjects effectively
• Ensure that all equipment is properly set up, well maintained and used to its full potential
• Collaborate with the team to understand the requirements of the project and contribute to the overall visual strategy
• Edit and retouch photographs so that they meet the company’s aesthetic standards

Qualifications

• Skill in photography techniques and principles
• Experience with portrait photography and event capture is a plus
• Possess and be able to use your own camera effectively
• Proficiency in photo editing software (e.g. Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, etc.)
• Strong creative vision and attention to detail
• A keen eye for capturing spontaneous and emotional moments
• Enthusiasm for visual storytelling and a desire to learn and grow as a photographer
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Communicate effectively in English and/or Spanish
