Internship Description

This company is looking for a dynamic Quality Engineer intern who will play a key role in ensuring the quality of the products. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our production teams and help create and implement quality control strategies. Your responsibilities will include developing a work plan tailored to customer requirements, overseeing quality controls during production, and translating customer specifications to the workers involved in the process. Familiarity with CNC machines is essential for this position.

Schedule: between 24 and 32 hours per week (depending on project requirements)

Main responsibilities

  • Implement quality control measures to ensure that our products meet client specifications and industry standards
  • Create and adapt work plans according to client needs and project requirements
  • Utilize your expertise in CNC machines to optimize production processes and maintain precision
  • Act as a bridge between client specifications and production workers, ensuring clear communication and adherence to quality standards
  • Assist in preparing for and participating in audits conducted throughout the year to maintain quality certifications
  • Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to the development of more efficient and effective quality control procedures.

Qualifications

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of CNC machines and their operation
  • Knowledge of coatings
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team
  • You are good in oral and written English and Spanish 
  • Prior experience or coursework in quality engineering or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory
